Kibbutz Kfra Azza was established in August 1951 and its founders were immigrants from Egypt and Tangierand. Its located between Netivot and Sderot, it also located near the Gaza strip its only around 3 kilometer form the fence of Gaza.
And it belongs to the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council.
Today the kibbutz has about 800 residents.
Kibbutz Kfar Azza is one of the most beautiful and happys places in the Shaar Hanegev area.
On October 7th Kfar Azza was one of the brutal attackt on the kibbutim. the brutal massacre cotst 65 of members in Kfar Azza faced death and 18 out of 240 that were kidnaped are from Kfar Azza, with many homes damaged beyond repair.
The Kfar-Azza Foundation
The Kfar Azza Foundation originated after the brutal massacre on October 7th in Israel. The terrorist organization, Hamas, attacked towns, killing 1,400 innocent people and inflicting destruction. 65 of members in Kfar Azza faced death and 18 out of 240 that were kidnaped are from KA, with many homes damaged beyond repair. The Foundation works to support those affected by this tragedy.
The displaced southern community, now located temporarily in the center of the country, is dealing with difficult challenges that are causing pain and grief. They are searching for ways to plan for the future in terms of population, economy, and community.
The goal of the KA Foundation is to form strong partnerships that benefit the community and its leaders for a promising future. Its emphasis is on stability, securing professional assistance to meet various challenges, and a flexible, independent funding system to address needs beyond the Israeli government's coverage.
